School Wide Behavior
Our school wide positive behavior plan is in effect throughout the entire school year. Please watch for some changes that we as a staff plan to implement this year. I am on the committee and the ideas for creating teams and bonds between students in different grades should really help our students to have a sense of belonging, responsibility, and care. The Noble Knight tickets listed below may be replaced or may be in addition to house points the students will be able to earn from every single staff member at Stewartsville. Stay tuned!
Students earn Noble Knight tickets for positive behavior exhibited in the classrooms, in the hallway, in the bathrooms, in the cafeteria, and on the buses. The students earn the tickets by using the right voice level, keeping hands and feet to themselves, and showing respect towards their teachers, classmates,and staff members.
Please encourage your son or daughter to know the keys to the classroom, cafeteria, hallway etc. and to follow them in our attempt to promote positive behavior here at Stewartsville.
Since I have a Harry Potter theme in my room, Mrs. Schehr and I will run a House Points Championship each nine weeks. The students work to earn points for proper behavior, kindness, participation, a willingness to help,good work, homework completion, and much more. Mrs. Schehr and I like to be consistent between both of our classes with the expectations so the students will earn and lose points in both rooms.
