Stewartsville Elementary School serves students from kindergarten through fourth grade. Services in the school include Learning Support, Speech, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, English as a Second Language, and Gifted Support.
The Foreign Language program is offered by Norwin High School students and introduces Spanish, French and German. The Sign Language program is offered by Tracy Rocco, Center for Hearing and Deaf Services of Westmoreland County. Students may only sign up for one program. Our second session of Young Knights will be held at all four elementary schools on Wednesday, February 11. The program begins at 6:30, registration is required. Click the title above to register. Deadline for registration is February 4, 2026.
2 Hour Delay/FID Instruction (Flexible Instruction Day) Please be sure to check the Norwin School District webpage (click on the heading above), KDKA, WPXI, or WTAE webpages for all delays and flexible instruction days. In the event of a 2-hour delay, school will begin at 11 AM. Breakfast will not be served when there is a 2-hour delay. The AM/PM Kindergarten schedule will be as follows: AM students will report at 11 AM and be dismissed at 12:55 PM. PM students will report at 1:35 PM and be dismissed at the regular scheduled dismissal time of 3:30 PM.
