Meet the Teacher

Professionally speaking, I have taught for 23 years!!  I graduated from Geneva College and began my career in the Wilkinsburg School District as a first grade teacher.  After 6 years, I became a Literacy Coach and worked in that role while also providing reading intervention for two years before coming to the Norwin School District in 2006.   I taught first grade at Sheridan Terrace for eight years and was the K-2 Reading Specialist for 5 years before I came to Stewartsville!  This is my third year teaching second grade ELA and I love it! 

 

Personally, I am married to my husband, Jim.  We've been married for 26 years and have 5 children.  Gianna (24), Mia (23), Geno (19), Mario (16) and Nina (8).  You will probably learn all about them this year as we get to know each other better!   I love to spend time with my family, do Pure Barre, read, shop, missions, and I'm an advocate for adoption and orphan care here and around the world!
